KARAKU × Ayako Ishiguro – “Poison Tsurutsuru Mushroom” Embroidered Knit Sweater
A collaborative piece by KARAKU and illustrator/picture book artist Ayako Ishiguro. Inspired by yokai, curious creatures, and imaginary beings, this series features four wearable art items including shirts, T-shirts, and pants—each designed to quietly linger in your imagination while adding a playful twist to the everyday.
 

A small “Poison Tsurutsuru Mushroom” motif is embroidered on the left chest, framed in an orange tag-style graphic that stands out sharply against the black base.
The back features a bold, statement embroidery: a calico cat with an elongated tongue and a poisonous mushroom sprouting from its head, rendered in a psychedelic and surreal art style. Surrounding cloud-like smoke patterns add a dreamlike, mysterious mood to the piece.

Material: 60% Cotton / 40% Acrylic
- Fabric Features: Made from a cotton–acrylic blend using fine-quality yarns, the knit is smooth, soft to the touch, and durable enough for long-term wear. The fabric retains its shape while offering comfort and resilience.
- Recommended to dry clean, or machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Hang to dry.
